As a teacher in a Christian school, you are not only charged with educating dozens of young people in everything from math to English to history, but with building the conscience and character of these young people toward God. The Story of Jesus for Children is a concrete, understandable tool you can use to help provide your students with the foundational truth for all learning: that Jesus died for them and wants them to invite Him into their lives. Following are ideas of how to use The Story of Jesus for Children in your classroom and school:
Make The Story of Jesus for Children a part of your history or Bible class. The video will help you demonstrate that the teachings and life of Jesus are historically true. You can also use the film as a "launching pad" for a more extended study of Biblical principles. A 5 lesson accompanying teacher/mentor guide, specifically developed for use with the video, will be available after May.
Make The Story of Jesus for Children available through your school library.
Have The Story of Jesus for Children video playing in the background during back to school night, explaining to parents that this is one of the ways their children are learning about Jesus.
Give videos of The Story of Jesus for Children to your students as rewards for excellent behavior or performance, especially for Bible verse memorization.
Schedule a showing of The Story of Jesus for Children during your after-school day care program.
Become an "Education Trainer" and take The Story of Jesus for Children to teacher's conferences, and introduce other educators to how they can use the video to lead children in their schools to Jesus.
